How Caught at the Window handles account details, uploaded photos and generated videos.
What you share with us
When you create an account, we process the account details you provide, such as your name and email address. When you generate a video, we process your photo and generation request. We keep task records, generation usage records and video result links so you can check progress and find your results.
How video generation works
Uploaded photos and finished media are stored using Cloudflare R2. Your photo is sent to the configured video generation provider selected for the service and its upstream model service to create the clip. Those services need the image to generate your video. Their handling and retention of submitted content are also subject to their own policies. We do not promise that a third-party provider deletes a photo immediately or excludes it from all further processing.
Only upload photos you have permission to use. Avoid images containing private documents or other sensitive information you do not want to send to a generation provider.
Accounts and video links
Account access is required to create videos and retrieve your task records through our site. A generated video may be hosted at a provider URL. Anyone with that URL may be able to open it, so treat result links as shareable links, not password-protected files.
Payments
Checkout is handled by the payment provider shown when you pay. We keep order and generation usage records to manage purchases. Full card details are entered with the payment provider rather than stored by our application.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to maintain your sign-in session. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working.
Retention and deletion
There is currently no guaranteed automatic deletion period for uploads, task records or provider-hosted videos. Download results you want to keep. Removing a local copy does not delete a provider-hosted copy. A self-service deletion option is not currently available; we will update this page when a supported deletion process is available.
Security
Generation credentials are held on the server. Account checks protect access to task records, but no online service can promise complete security. Do not share your sign-in details or private result links.
Updates
We will update this page when our data handling changes. Review it before submitting new photos.
